Just as the headline suggests, Daily Hawks is looking to expand its coverage by bringing on more writers to specialize in different areas. We’re not just looking for writers, by the way, as I’d like to bring on a social media specialist, videographer, podcaster and other specialties like that. Essentially, we’re looking to create the most unique, and fun, Atlanta Hawks blog on the internet.
Requirements:
- If you’d like to write for DH, having a good understanding of AP Style is a must.
- Must be a reliable contributor: there will be deadlines, so if you decide you’d like to write for us, be prepared to work within a posting schedule.
What we’re specifically looking for:
- Writers interested in putting together game previews, game recaps and 3-on-3 pieces with other blogs.
- One social media staff member who live tweets game from the @DailyATLHawks account, Facebook updates and other things of that nature.
- One videographer who is skilled in cutting up game footage, turning them into .gifs, and things like that. And maybe, down the line, recording footage for the site in other social capacities.
