If you were wondering, yes, watching Kyle Korver make three pointer after three pointer is just as dazzling in practice as it is during an actual game. Put it this way, as I watched Korver put on a clinic this morning at the Hawks practice facility, I was astounded not with all of the swishes, but rather, the rare misses from Korver.
Something tells me Korver is going to hit a lot of threes for the Hawks again this season, but it’s just a hunch.
After practice concluded, I spoke with one of the newest members of the Hawks, Thabo Sefolosha, and Korver, too.
Here were the highlights from my conversation with Thabo:
Thabo on his role with the #Hawks: “I know they’re expecting me to come in and be a force defensively.”

Thabo said he texted KD after his injury and said: “It’s not as bad as people talked about at first,” in regards to Durant’s injury.

Thabo on playing in Budenholzer’s offense: “It’s an offense without many restrictions.”

Here are the highlights of my conversation with Korver:
Korver on how the #Hawks are gelling under Budenholzer: “We’re definitely way better than where we were a year ago.” #NBA

Korver on Thabo continued: “He’s played in the Finals. He’s played in a lot of playoff games. He’s guarded really good players.” #Hawks

Korver on DeMarre and the rest of the team: “DeMarre has worked on his shot a lot. We have a lot of guys who can shoot.” #Hawks
