Video: Muscala and Bazemore star in All-Star voting hashtag skit

Hawks’ big Mike Muscala and wing Kent Bazemore put together a video encouraging fans to be proactive in voting for Hawks’ stars Jeff Teague, Paul Milsap and Al Horford.

Quick Analysis: You can tell both have of these guys had a lot of fun doing this. Also, I feel like the outtakes of putting this together is where the real hilarity ensues with Moose and Baze fumbling through all of the hashtags and having to start over. I’m 99 percent sure it exists.

Why the Nets’ dysfunction matters to the Hawks

The Brooklyn Nets have lost three game in a row, their general manager Billy King has put the team’s three highest-paid players on the trading block, and their previous head coach Jason Kidd‘s young, pesky Milwaukee Bucks team currently sits two spots ahead of the Nets in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. To put it […]

DeMarco Williams of SLAM: “Babies couldn’t care less about editorial deadlines. Well, Kyle Korver’s baby couldn’t. SLAM had been trying to score an interview with the Atlanta Hawks shooting guard for some time, but the team’s media relations department could never commit to a day because Korver’s wife, Juliet, was expecting to give birth to […]

Injury News: Hawks’ forward Mike Scott out tonight against the 76ers

Mike Scott has officially been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to flu-like symptoms. What the Atlanta Hawks did in Brooklyn last night is probably a felony in at least 12 states across the country as they defeated, actually, no, they exposed the Brooklyn Nets 98-75. Watching a Hawks-Nets game in 2014, from the Hawks’ perspective, is interesting for a number of reasons. For one, the Hawks have the option […]

Chris Barnewall of Hawks Hoop: “This week in the southeast, the Wizards look like a pretty damn good basketball team, but the Hawks are right on their tail. These are not only two of the best teams in the division; they might be two of the best teams in the conference. Meanwhile, the division is […]

Daily Hawks News (12.04.14)

Bo Churney of Hawks Hoop: “The Hawks won on Tuesday night by defeating the Boston Celtics by a score of 109-105. The Hawks won despite trailing by 23 points at one point, and Kyle Korver was a big reason why the Hawks were able to comeback. However, Boston’s Evan Turner lobbed some unkind words in […]

Daily Hawks News (12.03.14)

Bo Churney of Hawks Hoop:“The Hawks fell behind early to a hot-shooting Boston Celtics team, allowing 42 points on 17-for-22 (77%) in the first quarter. The lead ballooned to 23 early in the second quarter as Rajon Rondo continued to dish to open men, who promptly sank their uncontested jumpshots. The Hawks battled back in […]
